A week long Shivratri fair of Mandi held in February/March. Hundreds of gods and goddesses carried by the devotees on palkiyan/Raths (Wheelless chariots) make it amidst traditional melodious tunes of musical band entered the tastefully decorated Mandi town. These deities on their arrival first visit the shrine of Madho Rai, After that they hasten to pay their homage to Lord Shiva at Bhutnath temple. A week long programme of entertainments begins where the hill folk exibit their talents.
